My husband has just brought a small 23ft yacht and it needs to have a revamp inside and out,the boat has been out of the water for just over a year and the survey said it was in very good condition, the hull needs to have “anti-foul” put on before it goes back into the water, (it is GRP construction). What is the best way to do this and what preparation do we need to do?

I am just wondering if there is any kind of certification and training that I would need to drive a 57 and 160 foot motor yacht, is it just like drivers education except for boats?

oh….so I need experience? All i want is a party yacht…im not going to go across the ocean or anything..just around the bay that I live on. Do I still need this licence?
And it would be my personal yacht, not for a company
Oh I only meant this for recreation, not for a career. I mean I want to buy a yacht, not work on one :p

I just want it to be on my dock so I can take it out with my family when ever we want.
