Are there any mini yacht models which will help me to understand how real yachts are put together and work?

Maybe this seems like an obvious question, because of course i will have an understanding of how the frame pieces together. I guess i am asking whether anyone knows of any high detail yacht model kits that include the pipes and interior gizmoids? I am going to take an engineering course for power yachts in the summer. Making a model seems like a cool thing to do before i get into really knowing how to fix everything on a yacht.
The early performances of Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team have taken a lot of people by surprise, not least Alinghi who very nearly lost to the up-and-coming Italians. An 8-second delta represented a victory for Mascalzone as well as Alinghi. 
The first Class America ever built in China will carry the sail number CHN 95. The building of the hull was completed in Dong Guan and validated by Ken Mc Alpine, technical director of the 32nd America’s Cup. CHN 95 will be delivered directly to Valencia from Hong Kong and is expected to arrive mid-December. 
The new yacht of Desaf o Espa ol 2007 has entered the Port America’s Cup. It is the first time that a challenger is racing in its own country and ESP 88 is the first boat built by the Spanish team for its campaign for the Cup. 
Hamish Pepper knows all about being in a big team, having worked with Team New Zealand for the past two America’s Cups. This time he is strategist for one of the small, up-and-coming teams, Mascalzone Latino – Capitalia Team. But he is loving the change of pace, and the culture shock. “It’s more fun, a lot more enjoyable,” he says. “You’re spread out across more diverse areas in the campaign. I get to be involved in a lot of different aspects of the programme. So I get to learn more.” 
Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone paid a visit to the Port America’s Cup on Friday visiting the home team Desaf o Espa ol 2007 and the defender of the Cup, Alinghi. 
Harry Dunning is the principal designer for the Mascalzone Latino – Capitalia Team. He has been a professional yacht designer for over 20 years, including long stints at Farr Yacht Design and the Reichel & Pugh design office.
